The act 3 shed approach section... Just awful
There's just such a narrow window for everything, and then you're at the mercy of the physics. The targets should be slightly closer, and some behind the scenes nudges to guide your jumps because right now the way it stands this is just completely out of place for the rest of the game, and honestly is just terrible.

Everything up to this was fine, even the other parts that required a bit of reaction and agility, but this just doesn't fit in.

Hey! Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you haven't enjoyed that section. It's a bit hard, admittedly, but we have intended it to be a crescendo of sorts. Yet it's something for us to consider in the future!
It definitely works as a crescendo, and I certainly wouldn't remove it entirely. But some minor behind the scenes assists and nudges would help immensely. Though it can be tricky to help just enough that a player unaware of the assistance feels like they did it on their own. There needs to be the possibility of failure, but only if you're really not trying.

But otherwise, I definitely enjoyed the game. It's just extra frustrating when something like this happens at the end, and threatens to sour the entire opinion of it.

Wrong, this specific episode requires precision and your aim. Fail few times, brain will adjust your grappling angle and grab moment, then you're at the mercy of your skills :)

I see you point, this game/part is not the first in the sense, where a 99% calm walk-through suddenly replaced by a quick movement (Helltaker, Tetragone, name a few more!).
But that's the beauty - the game offers a different mechanics when you don't expect it :lunar2019grinningpig:
I agree. I love this game. It's been great up until this part. There is no forgiveness. I can understand wanting to make it more difficult. But it is borderline infuriating. It is very rare that I get so frustrated that I want to stop playing a game. But this part just about ruined my experience.

You should add the aim line that pops up on M&K to controller. I was only able to finish it when switching to M&K. I only found out that I should switch by watching a youtube video.

Aside from that. Wonderful game and concept.
I watched that claw GO THROUGH the pegs so many times! The wildly inconsistent physics really kill this part of the game.
In a recent play, I had a similar problem, but not just with the ending
The throwing mechanic appears to have been weakened, it took me six attempts to throw the toy car over the cat house, whereas it only took one before
and the strength of the harpoon has lowered too, it does not reel in as fast as before, most likely causing the claw to miss the pegs at the end

I love this game and have been quietly hoping for a possible sequel or spinoff
But something went wrong in a recent update
I do agree it has to be challenging, but it should not be infuriating when a previously working mechanic, suddenly stops working

Ha-ha, same. I thought it was just me going crazy with all the Proton cutscene glitches. But throwing is certainly broken now, yeah. Previously items roughly followed the dotted arc, now they definitely don't. As if all the throwable items suddenly became much heavier.

I did not have any problems with harpoon though.

Yeah I can't get that damn weight into the scales to make them drop down I miss it by a few inches every time.
Edit: well it seems I needed to throw it while jumping, but a previous walkthrough he just stood there.
