If you can find friends to play it with perhaps there's some fun to be had (esp. if you and your friends are running out of arcadey Coop shooters), but the game overally isn't gripping.
You'll have much more fun and bang for your buck when buying on sale:
- Dying Light 1 & 2 & their expansions (SP & Coop up to 4 people)
- Shadow Warrior 2 (Shadow Warrior 2013 too, if you're looking for a Single Player title)
- Far Cry 5, New Dawn & 6 (SP & Coop for 2 people)
- Back 4 Blood (SP & Coop up to 4 people)
- Necromunda Hired Gun (SP, on great sale right now)
- Turbo Killer (SP)
thank youu..i have this game for a long time ...when I bought it was a mess thats why Im asking ...but I think maybe now its not that bad for the 12 euros I gave
Bring the pop corn and have fun.
for the price, it's good enough
Must be hard not to have high enough IQ to understand people have different tastes and opinions.
He's got a point though. No matter what your tastes are, I can't see why anyone would possibly pick Redfall over almost any other ImSim, horror game, or co-op shooter. EVERYTHING in Redfall has already been done by better games, and it doesn't do anything well.
If I wanted an ImSim, I'd play Prey.
If I wanted a horror game, I'd play Resident Evil.
If I wanted a co-op shooter, I'd play Deep Rock Galactic.
If I wanted a looter-shooter, I'd play Borderlands.
If I wanted all of those at once, I'd play Dying Light.
So you are allowed to only like one game per genre? Otherwise you are just lying and can't possibly think it's good?
What if you already played all those? I never grow bored of looter shooters, and i've played all the borderlands to death, so what next? I ain't touching destiny or anything other online only games.
Honestly, people like you and me who have genuinely played every good game in a genre they like (and some of the bad ones) are the extreme minority. Many gamers pick one game (like Old School Runescape for my friend), or one genre (like JRPG's, for my sister), and have no need for something as bland as Redfall.
If you've truly played all there is in the genre and are seeking something, ANYTHING new, THEN you might enjoy Redfall, but for everyone else, there's a long lineup of better games first. Just one piece of advice: give Outriders a go before Redfall; it has one of the best transmog systems I've ever seen in a game.
You might have had decent points, but Outriders is a bad game and terrible advice for anyone to invest in. Because its online only and dead. No one should spend money on it.
At least redfall has offline mode.
And borrowing your words, if you want cover shooters, why pick ever outriders and not gears of war.
If you want transmog, just pick any modern mmo.
Just don't expect an actual arkane game. Expected open world "slop", but one that's actually quite fun.
