Anyone else having this freaking annoying bug?

Have it when I hit retry after any Mission. Only fix is to ALT+F4

Yup, its a common bug never fixed since ages ago. Solution? close the game. As others said.

Nope, not fixed. Always just continue and then restart the whole thing.

Sometimes I lost my game progress due to this bug, super annoying. And they still have the nerve to advertise their DLC to me

This is really something... Imagine all the money a company like M$ has, and yet, can't hire their studio for a couple of extra hours to fix this. Truly impressive.

It's already 2024, and this bug still hasn't been fixed. I am really disappointed.

It will eventually exit that screen (as it's not technically frozen) but for some reason it takes a snails pace for the restart to load.

My best advice is to either restart the race manually from the start menu (before the race ends) or finish the race (avoiding the restart) and then restart it up fresh from the world map.

Both solutions are faster than waiting for the load screen and will save you guy's having to reload the entire game back up.
