If you currently lvl32 pick everything you see, check on trading post if its worth selling to players if not sell directly to an npc, world bosses also good to farm some early money, you can check online the location and timer that way you can participate (world bosses only give you reward once a day).

Now max level you have this choices

Fractals the higher tier the more gold you gonna get (lowest tier you can make about 9gold minium always), World trains (why? mats), end of every week of every 3 days craft the mats to do ascended gear and sell them at trading post they give good gold ( reason players invest more on ascended gear then legendary), if you dont have crafting maxed then before wasting them check for a website to level up you profession at minium cost so that way you can max you class without spending a dime (i made mistake very early selling everything then when i needed i had to buy XD)

Yeah, if you are still levelling, you have no good way of getting gold quickly, outside of getting lucky with a rare drop from a world boss or something. However, once you reach max level (which was never increase since the game's release, so the last decade of content is all the same level) you have lots of options depending on what content you own. If you really want gold, you may want to just focus on levelling for the moment, selling whatever you don't need along the way. Once you are max level, probably the two best gold generators available with just the base game is Fractals and Silverwastes.

Fractals are late-game dungeons, done in a premade party of five, found in Lion's Arch. There is some initial grinding involved in earning the ability to run higher difficulty versions of the fractals, but once you are eventually able to do the highest tiers, you can get a lot of gold and other resources daily in a short amount of time.

The Silverwastes is a map in the west that has a super easy and fairly profitable meta-event (or just "meta", which refers to a series of connected events often intended for large groups), and as long as you have a fullish squad running it, you can get quite a few materials to sell for gold and there is no chance of failure.

Okk gotcha.. So should I focus on story or on exploration right now, bcoz I am playing on instinct. i havent done that much story recently.. so best way to level up would be story right ?

Can't u buy gold from LOG-IN rewards?

You should focus on leveling up and exploring first without worrying too much about gold. Once you reach Level 80, that’s just the beginning. From there, you’ll unlock even more opportunities to explore and naturally start earning gold without even realizing it.

Focus on getting to 80 first, you don't really earn much gold while leveling. Plenty of ways to go about leveling tho, you could focus on story or just run around the map and exploring, both are good options.

Once you hit 80, the whole game opens up and you have endless options. Daily fractals are a good start, running map metas (map wide events that give out tons of rewards), world bosses, etc etc. Pretty much anything you do gives you gold (or most likely something that can be sold for gold). Its just a matter of finding your preferred method.

None of this is what I'd call fast gold but it is something you can add to other gold making techniques as supplemental gold making. I use all of them and make about 8 gold a day without actually farming gold and just playing the game. It would be maybe 10 gold a day if I actually sold the unidentified gear but I tend to hold it till I need it.

For starters do your daily challenges for 1 gold. That will add up over time though not very quickly. To see challenges look at top left of screen. I think it is the second from the right called Wizards Tower, which is new to me since I've been gone a while.

Currently, and also new to me, is what the points from daily and weekly challenges can buy which is gold. The second icon on the left, when you open up the Wizards Tower page, is a shop type thing. You can buy 1 gold for 6 points but there is a limit, which I can't remember. After you buy all of those there is a more expensive, and apparently infinite gold item but it now costs 35 (?) points for 1 gold.

Than you can sell on the trading post which is the icon on the farthest right at the top of the screen next to the Wizards Tower icon. Anything you farm for professions can sell you just have to see what sells for at least 1 silver or more per unit and farm the heck out of it. Yellow gear normally sells for around 20-27ish silver each so do Bosses. I think higher level events also might give you yellows but haven't been paying attention since coming back.

Something else I do is save the blue. green and yellow unidentified gear you'll get as you quest, do events and fight bosses. Before I had left I had tested if opening them, dismantling them and than selling mats or keeping them unidentified makes more money but can't remember anymore so I just hold onto them and than sell them in bulk later on. Found out blues stack to 250 and make a couple of gold for that stack. Greens get you more money and yellows even more money.

EDIT: Something to mention is if you are into cosmetic looks you can apply to weapons and gear than you'll want to add the looks of gear you find and not sell it. I think it binds when you add the look but not positive. You'll have to look to see if a piece of gears look is unlocked for you before selling if that is the case. Normally blues and greens won't even need to be looked at after you've played a while but there will almost always be yellows you'll need.

Iron ore is currently about 1.3 silver each, making Iron Ore nodes worth about 4 silver each.

That's probably your best option while you level. It adds up.
