If you created your account through the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Guild Wars 2 website, you cannot log in to it through Steam, or vice versa. You will need to continue playing on your account using the launcher downloaded from the Guild Wars 2 website.

All Guild Wars 2 players can play together on the same servers regardless of the client used. However, NA and EU servers are separate.

You cannot transfer a Guild Wars 2 account created through the Guild Wars 2 website to Steam, or vice versa.

Guild Wars 2 does not have Steam Achievements, but it does have its own robust in-game achievements system.

Gem purchases can be made using your Steam Wallet. However, you cannot refund any Gem purchases made through Steam.

In-game purchases can only be made with the Steam Wallet within the Steam client. Gem and game codes obtained outside of Steam cannot be redeemed by Steam users. Item codes can be redeemed by Steam users at {LINK REMOVED}https://account.arena.net.

No, the option to add account authentication within the Account Management page of your ArenaNet account is not available for Guild Wars 2 Steam accounts. Please visit Steam to review any options they offer concerning authentication for your Steam account.

Guild Wars 2 is playable on the Steam Deck but is not officially supported. You will likely need an external gamepad profile to make it work.

Guild Wars 2 does not have native gamepad support, but many players enjoy the game with a gamepad regardless. There are external software tools you can use such as JoyToKey to enable gamepad play.

Living World episodes must be purchased separately. However, you can purchase the Steam-Exclusive Complete Package bundle to receive all currently available Guild Wars 2 content, including every expansion and Living World episode released so far. Living World season 1 is free for all players to enjoy.

The Living World episodes bridge the gap between expansion packs and include a number of important story beats. However, the game can be fully enjoyed without them.

You do not need to purchase any Living World episodes in order to experience expansion content.
