Procedural Wrecks Bug(s)?
My sister and I have noticed in multiplayer that containers from past procedural wrecks not despawning when closing the portal; they frequently reappear as floating chests when we open new portals. This is seems to go hand in hand with the entrance doors to procedural wrecks being closed. and preventing entry completely. If we manage to get inside, sometimes there are not chests and even voids between rooms in some of the wrecks. It is reoccurring even when we completely close out the game and reload. Has anyone else encountered this?

I've managed to recreate the floating chests in single player, but not the closed doors or empty wrecks and voids.

The closed door issue is a known bug, it should resolve itself if you go back up the ladder to the surface and come back down again - you may have to repeat this a few times before the issue clears itself and the door opens.

As for voids and gaps in wrecks, that sounds like you both might need to verify the game files via the Steam Library.

Beyond that, try turning off GPU Resident Drawer and GPU Occlusion Culling in the graphics options.

The "floating chest" thing is down to how the portals currently work.

When the portal is closed, the game checks if there are any items in the portal area then they will be removed. Anything associated with the wrecks will be removed too. The problem is foundation grids and containers.

There is evidently no check for these in the portal area and so they persist. It is easy to see this if you mess around with the save data. Since all portal areas use the same area, then closing then creating a new one will result in foundation grids and containers staying in their exact locations as they were built at.
