번역 관련 문제 보고
I know of a way to get it working but the Steam Community Rules strictly prohibit me from publishing the solution (refer here https://gtm.you1.cn/helpsteam/en/faqs/view/6862-8119-C23E-EA7B in section Content Rules). Contact me and I will tell you.
Little hint: It's a certain method but it does not involve downloading entire gigabytes of data.
I have disabled User Account Control(UAC)
Turned it on again, restart the computer and the game starts
Thanks EA...
Firstly, the problem:
EADesktop 32-bit compatibility version won't launch when Crysis 3 launches causing communication issues with the EA servers to validate you copy and the "Could Not Launch" error message.
The solution:
Completely remove as much of EADesktop references from your Registry and delete it completely from your machine (Uninstalling may or may not work, but I got it to work by manually doing this).
Reboot and launch Crysis. You should get some errors about corrupted EA Desktop and reinstalling, etc, etc. I downloaded the App install from EA directly, installed it, launched Crysis again and it ran fine after that.
For some reason compatibility mode won't launch properly other then after first install and before a reboot.
A few notes:
- Back up your registry before doing this. Regedit is the tool you use and use the Find tool in it's menu to find the keys to delete. There will be a LOT of them.
- You don't need to kill every reference in the Components section of the registry, but do delete a few of them. This will cause the "Bad Install" error to happen and get the EA app to fix it self.
- Clearing Cache won't fix anything.
- Changing Administrator permissions won't fix anything.
- Win 10/11 is untested with this fix as I finished the game before I upgraded my OS and feel no need to go back to it again.
Hope this helps.
