A run-based mode separate from the campaign where items have random stats. So you could find silly stuff like sporebloom with a 10 shot magazine or corrupted meridian that shoots one very nasty rocket. A "just for fun mode" that allows for REALLY broken builds.
I will take a paid expansion for this game or a sequel. I just want more Remnant mostly.
- more exploration within maps than the crystal-A > detours > crystal-B set-up
- more pronounced procedural map segment generation
- provide all the content from the first, two games (weapons, trinkets, gear etc.) in the base game, instead of re-inventing the wheel [again]; all DLC should be fresh content
- day-night cycling that affects enemy spawns
- dynamic weather that affects status effects (e. g., "shock" is amplified in rain)
- an option for the melee weapon to be a cycled weapon, like the firearms are (i. e., not swung automatically when attack button is pressed without aiming)
Also fixing bug in a way that rewards player with what they would get, instead of needing them to do the entire thing again, or completely lock them out.
And a Biome/world under the water, cyberpunk aqualungs, harpoons, marine monsters, imagine the possibilities...
but after the inclusion of the boss-rush update and the prism I wouldn't be surprised if it will be a mobile game xD
edit: forgot the most important thing of all, less talkitive character when killing a boss
- All worlds we have seen so far (Earth, Rhom, Corsus, Reisum, Yaesha, Losomn, N'erud) and then some (since the labyrinth supposedly has infinite worlds)
- Even more customization! Bring back the armor effects from remnant 1, but in a different way: have "sockets" in armors and you can put whatever effects you want through "armor mutators", and make limits based on armor type (the same light, medium, heavy and super heavy that we already have)
- MOAR WEAPONS! But also include all the weapons we have seen in both remnant 1 and remnant 2
- MOAR ARMORS! but also include all we've seen in remnant 1 and 2
- Complete, modular worlds!
Now "Complete, modular worlds" is something I want to explain a bit.
Right now, the worlds come in modules that are completely separated and don't have an "actual position" in the world. They're just "floating around" somewhere in the world.
What "complete" would mean, is that we have a huge world that is completed (think a whole city, like GTA 5's Los Santos, for "Earth"), and the modular part would just be the sectors of the world that you have access to, so we still have multiple paths with specific world bosses, but these are now in specific parts of the world.
So to translate this to current Losomn, the Asylum wouldn't just be "somewhere", it would have a specific position in the entirety of the Losomn world, and you would be able to see it from a common module, like the clocktower (on top of the clocktower), you just wouldn't be able to access it if you had the "Faerin/Faelin" path. You would also be able to see the lighthouse, the one true king's castle, etc. from the clocktower, and vice versa.
This would have the advantage of being able to create some modules that are completely inaccessible from certain paths (because you literally can't get there unless your path would take you through another "main path" building). For a concrete example, you wouldn't be able to get the sunken witch module because that would require you to physically go through the one true king part of the world, which is not in your main path.
Post-Root Yaesha? Help Jinas rebuild her empire, or help the Flautist lead the Pan to freedom?
Or just flip the game on its head. Play as a Pan coming to help the humans sort their shenanigans.
