This game is restarting my whole PC
And I just restored my PC yesterday, I literally have steam and remnant 2 installed and nothing else but Edge. I even uninstalled and disabled all the bloatware that comes with the windows 11. This is super frustrating....

it sounds like an overheating issue. are you running your rig on overclock currently? it may be doing damage to your CPU/GPU.

while in game it forces my pc to restart as well... no other games do that.

Do you build your PC yourself?
Most of the Games have problems because the PC Owner is building a trash PC and the
components do not match

I usually get the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error and just crash to windows (I get a lot of this, to the point of making the game unplayable). But once I also a hard crash, the first one I had in years. All specs are normal, temps normal, gfx and memory stress tested and normal. Seems the issue is in the game...

No BSOD or error? Sounds like overheating

i dont even get error. It justs restarts my pc like i command it to restart from windows. and i got corrupted profile so i must delete my progress. :/
Might be time to have your pc looked at by a certified expert. Had the same kind of trouble about 2 years ago, but it's been smooth sailing since I sent it for repairs.

Restart could be a hardware error ..Not heat most likely as that just shuts your PC off. BIOS protection is a shutdown not a restart. What use would it be if your PC is extremely hot to restart it. Then you just get in a restart loop.

i have ryzen 5800x undervolted and goes at 92oC at some times. but every other game i play i have no problem at all. for example, i play diablo 4 at high settings in 2k at 144fps pretty smooth and stable.

Why is it undervolted... this is Just stupid and unhealty for your pc

Post your specs including what PSU you have, run some stress tests.

what cooler do you have? that's thermal throttling.

Depending on your PC settings, if your CPU reach a certain temp it will shutdown as a security measure. Overheating is the most likely culprit if your PC restart for no reason. (Unless you had a short power outage).

If this game is causing your PC to go above 80 degree celsius, i would advise not playing it until you find a way to reduce the temp (Cleaning dust, re-applying new thermal paste, more/better fans). I personally fried a few motherboard in the past by not taking good care of my PC temp.
