It's wild that there are still games that don't include this basic setting. I won't play a first-person game where I can't invert. Such a shame I won't be playing this game either.

I don't know why this happens so much with indie games it's a weird oversight. I really want to play this game, but my brain just does not work in first person without inverting the Y axis.

Open %LocalAppData%\Adios\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\input.ini and change AxisMappings=(AxisName="LookUp",Scale=-1.000000,Key=MouseY) to AxisMappings=(AxisName="LookUp",Scale=1.000000,Key=MouseY)' (by removing the minus sign)
Just got this from Epic for free and the input.ini file didn't have the stuff you mentioned. I added the latter line you posted to the file and it sure worked but now I can't look left or right.
I don't really care about a sollution. I'll get the game when it's on a sale on Steam. It seems interesting enough.

We can't afford to go back and do that. Sorry. None of us play inverted 'cause it's not common at all (and getting less common) so we didn't realize it was important for people.

Very sorry about that. We have a checklist of updates to make to Adios if we can ever afford to do that, and that's on that checklist. Don't hold your breath, unfortunately. Another thing I want to put back in the game is the photography system (that's why the darkroom is there but unused), but, again, no idea if we can afford it.

Our next game will have inversion; it's already an option in the early builds of the game. We'll announce that probably this year.

Think of the mouse as the top of your character's head. Pushing up will make her look down, pulling back will make her look up.
Much more natural than standard - it really is.
You guys never played flight sims, I take it?
If your happy to play with a controller then you can enable y-axis invert via steam input (just click on the controller icon on the game page in your library) Game plays just fine with the controller.
