Consider this a review for Overlord and Overlord: Raising Hell. As this game's DLC came out before it was properly implemented into steam, it is treated as a second game.

A cult classic from the golden age of gaming, Overlord is effectively what many would call "evil pikmin". You control a growing horde of minions of 4 different types to take revenge and collect objects. We like objects. While the game is absolutely dated in many ways, and some of the visuals are hard to respect, and saving is kinda annoying and regaining health also annoying,
I personally find it to be one of the better games I played both as a child and an adult. If you can't stand the older era of the emerging Xbox 360 titles, this game is not for you. But if you relish in that era like I did, and even carry a heavy dose of nostalgia, it is absolutely an incredible experience.

8.5/10, Back to Act One Again!

This DLC is excellent. Yes, it REALLY gets frustrating with its tasks and micromanagement. Playing golf with Melvin or navigating the final maze is just torture. But the DLC is quite hardcore and provides a great challenge for those who have already completed the main game and want more. Plus, it introduces interesting locations and ideas, as well as new equipment for the overlord and the minions.
P.S. Because of how the game is sold on Steam, I played this version more, although in essence this version and the version without DLC are the same thing, which is strange.

I would always recommend the beautiful simplicity that is Overlord. The good ye ol days of gaming where it was simple and enjoyable with the best virtue of just making a fun game rather than some crummy ol message no real gamer wants in this long running hobby of ours. The DLC is a hit or miss, if you want more of the same, good. If you want something more? Miss lol. I didnt want to deal with the same bosses but in puzzle form(if its different with the other DLC locations then im wrong then but otherwise meh). This was one of my favorite simple games back in the day, it was this and DA origins ultimate edition when I first got my 360 <3
