Who was the narrator?
I could have sworn there was going to be a huge reveal that the narrator was going to be a central part to the story, she is with you through the entire thing after all and wants a happy ending but can't seem to do it without your help.

I was thinking it was one of two characters
1) The gator at the fountain

This is obvious, her book seems to follow our adventure loosely, the same themes at every turning point, she even ends the book she's reading at the same time we do.

2) Natt

This character is the only character I have an issue with. She kind of... Natt... Narrator... wait a minute nah.

But Natt does kind of show up when the story reaches a standstill of Iggy and Luka just napping and she nudges it along. So maybe it could be Natt, but that leaves the question as to why?

Anyway, I'm just rambling and wondering if anyone else has any thoughts on it.

It's easy to miss but Natt isn't female. They're referred to with male pronouns in like.. one line.

Well darn, there goes that theory. I missed that one line mainly because I forgot all about Natt's existence until watching a friend play it. he just sort of comes and goes, its super weird.

I mean thinking on it, maybe the gender is a way to throw us off that scent. I still find Natt massively suspicious.

After a 2nd play-through I am convinced that Natt is or at least someway related to the Narrator. Natt only appears in one branching path and only serves to push the story along, after all he first appears when Iggy and Luka are about to take a nap bringing the story to a stand still.

Natt also knows what can potentially happen to Iggy with the sacrifice story arc by letting Iggy know that he can leave at any point, Natt has no motive or reason to try to encourage Iggy to leave Luka behind other than to try to save Iggy from the sacrifice plot-line.

Natt also knows more than any of the other characters about the source and what it contains and even what it is capable of doing when subjected to discharges of energy. Natt is also vague about what he is even doing there and even says he "lives" there in a manner of speaking.

Natt = Narrator.

i'm pretty sure it is Natt Because in some other dialog they talk about how their only job is to watch and wait which that's what the narrator does is watch and wait for you to finish the book
