Does item drop rarity affect affect ingredient drop rates?
i.e. will i have more chance of getting a grinding stone with higher item drop rarity values?

depending on the ingredient, it only affects the item pool[the star number].
you'll get the same number of items with rarity, but the average stars on them will be higher
