From what I’ve played so far, “ Cat in the box” is an atmospheric and creepy anime influenced rpg maker horror game. The puzzles are well-done and the design is memorable, the house you’re trapped in has a squalid atmosphere that’s eerie and off putting.
My major criticism would be that there’s a lot of stealth chase sequences where the challenge is fighting against clumsy controls while a really fast enemy chases you. While sometimes these can be scary, I mostly found them frustrating
