They seriously need to consider choosing a different font for the subtitles. You can choose this font only if you then add voice over for them, because holy ♥♥♥ how am I meant to read this font?

The stylized retro graphics give me an actual headache, specifically when traversing over textured ground like sand or grass. Once the game introduced literal monsters on only the second day, i completely lost interest.

A solid little retro horror experience. The game self-imposes a fairly basic control scheme and old-school graphics. But with these constraints, it pushes the boundary for story telling and manages to create an atmosphere that is drowning in tension. By and large you could consider this a walking simulator, it does a fairly good job of keeping you on track with your objectives - I never really felt lost for what I should be doing next. And that being said, there are some branches within the gameplay/storyline that can impact the ending which is very neat. The game also sprinkles in a few action pieces throughout, they didn’t always control the best but respect for the game trying to change it up a bit. The star of the game is for the setting and atmosphere. The lonely island lighthouse is the perfect spot to tell a creepy tale and this game absolutely capitalizes on it.
