ELDEN RING

Just uninstalled, and I feel conflicted...
I played the game for hundreds of hours on series X, and when I finally got a god tier PC I finished it there as well...

I always thought that Elden Ring would always be installed on my PC in case I wanted to try builds, weapons, spells or just run around...

But I just played a bit and I felt numb, empty and annoyed.

I used to love this game, it was extremely wondrous when I first played it, but I have played it for a looong time...

I thought to myself "I am not having fun anymore...is it time?"

So I uninstalled, to make room for FF XVI and other things.

But it felt strange, like I broke up with somebody I still loved or something...

But I feel like I have to force myself to decide that "I am done now", or else it will always be installed and entice me to play, when I am actually done with it, emotionally at least.

But man, that felt strange...guess this feeling will pass.

What a powerful game.

See it this way - it will be a looong time till the next FS title. This means that, let's say in a year or so, you can reinstall and dive into it fresh one more time :)

I dont cosider ER to be much replayable.
Already NG+1 was no fun for me...

I made the same mistake with Elden Ring as i did in Skyrim, try to replicate the same experience with my second character. It was no fun, i became frustrated and i realized the only way for me to have any kind of fun is to give myself some kind of limitation for my third character. It wasn't a severe limitation, but only allowing me to use equipment from hero graves, Night Cavalries and Death Birds gave myself something to look forward to killing certain enemies. I also constantly switched between equipment so it felt fun to use different weapons.

Elden Ring for me certainly doesn't have the same replayability as Skyrim did, but i do see myself playing a few more runs in the future.
