I just finished the game & I was loving it until the last five minutes of the ending. Seriously, like, wtf? Horrible ending and such a great game.
I rather the developer starts something new.
Is the ending really that bad? Glenn started like a beta type person. Is he still a beta till the end?
well... i guess i'll be dropping this game. Despite this game looks like FFXII i think Vaan still ends up better than Glenn XD.
LOL
Retiring by becoming a bird? XD
That's some positive insight.
Well he wannted to be free like a Bird and fly trough the Skys. He got what he wanted. Literally.
Hey it happened at the end of Terrinigma too.
"Ark's last dream pictures him as a bird flying above the world that he helped to exist, watching it grow older. An epilogue plays which shows Lightside Elle at her original home. There is a knock at the door, and she answers it. The game then ends."
Yeah but i believe those two characters are EXTREMELY different. Glenn is old. Very old. He already saw the world grow before he even became a Bird. In fact his wish to became free as a birn happened because of the prison he build for himself.
Some people hate the ending because "Glenn never grew balls" but those people should ask themself if they could bear reviving over and over again seeing their loved ones die even your own children. Can you bear the pressure going trough a painful life over and over again for that one singular moment in time which you dont even know when or if it will ever happen ? Glenn already had balls of steel. Putting the pressure of the fate of the world on his shoulders now aswell after all he went trough is simply asking to much.
