This game feels more like a cinematic experience than a typical game, but that doesn't make it weaker. It makes it stronger. Your choices and actions have a significant impact on the game world. It features a great story, writing, and characters. 8/10

not enough crack houses

I think it's a great game. Interesting characters, good plot... there are some disturbing moments in the early chapters such as a dump yard, fleeing from an abusive drug dealing owner, etc., but once you are through those, the game moves quickly and shouldn't result in anymore trauma. In fact, the freedom march is one of the most up-lifting scenes I have ever experienced in a game, I came close to crying, and I'm someone who considers himself mostly dead on the inside. I think the actors, developers, programmers, and producers should be proud of their efforts in creating this experience. I'd rate this game R for mature themes, but it's so worth it. Much like the clay-mation movie, A Nightmare Before Christmas, or perhaps the movie, The Godfather, this is one of those games that is so good in it's own way that there does not, nor should there be, a sequel.
