Still Have Zoomed Cutscenes
Hi everybody. I have tried what feels like everything to try and get the cutscenes to not be zoomed in but the problem persists. I have:
Fusion Fix 3.4.0
Hz at 59
16/9 aspect ratio
FPS lock at 30 in game, on MSI Afterburner, on nvidia Profile Protector
Vsync off

Is there anything I am missing? From research Fusion Fix mid should have corrected the problem by itself however still after reinstalling the game a couple of times it is still happening. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This line in the .ini file of FusionFix:
ScriptCutsceneFovLimit = 30.
There is
CutsceneFpsLimit = 30
also, so u shouldnt lock fps at 30 in the game for cutscenes only.

After uninstalling the game, files, that u added by urself will still exist in GTA IV folder (Steam/steamapps/common)

Have u tried Vsync and FPS lock from FusionFix? U can try that and check cutscenes again.

I'll look to reinstall make sure everything is deleted including in the recycle bin also and try again to make sure.

I have done FPS lock from FusionFix but not Vsync - is it same process by changing the .ini file?

Thanks for your help.
Not exactly. Settings that you can change via game menu in FusionFix can be found here:
GTAIV/plugins/GTAIV.EFLC.FusionFix.cfg. But GTAIV.EFLC.FusionFix.ini (same path) has different settings. You can check these two files by yourself with any text editor.

I mean I haven't tried using these lines (as i mentioned in previous message) without FusionFix`s Vsync. It`s unlikely, but maybe it depends on Vsync somehow. I`m not sure, we need to do some tests. :)

So I changed the .imi file and tried with and without Vsync and no luck unfortunately.
Ok. Delete GTA at Steam library. Delete GTA IV folder at x/steam/steamapps/common/gtaiv manually. Install it again at Steam library. Backup folder and delete it (C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV). Put CLEAN FusionFix at game folder again and don`t change anything. No Nvidia Inspeector or Afterburner settings. Try any cutscene.
Hello, thanks for your help so far.
I backed up the game and then deleted the backup folder. Put a clean fusion fix into the into the game folder and actually deleted Nvidia and Afterburner to make sure.
Cutscene still zoomed in. FYI I am testing with cutscene from 'Bleed Out' mission.
Thanks again for your ongoing help.
That`s strange. I don`t know.

Here's what I tried:
Unlocked framerate (over 90 and no fusionFix) - too zoomed.
Locked framerate to 60 (no fusionFix) - a bit zoomed cutscenes.
Locked framerate to 60 with [ScriptCutsceneFovLimit = 30] from FusionFix - ok.
Unlocked framerate (over 90) with [ScriptCutsceneFovLimit = 30] from FusionFix - ok.
Locked framerate to 60 with [ScriptCutsceneFovLimit = 30] + [CutsceneFpsLimit = 30] from FusionFix - the best experience and smooth cutscenes.

I tried to:
Lock fps, turn on vsync via Nvdia Control Panel.
Lock fps with [FpsLimit = 60], [FrameLimitType = 1 and 2] via FusionFix.
A bit different results for a frametime, but same for a zoom in cutscenes.
Same version of FusionFix as yours.

Maybe this info will help somehow.
