— 3 new jobs and fresh enemy squads that include them

• Radiation Engineer
  The radioactive weaponry utilized by this engineer is terrifying, not only permanently weakening enemies in battle but also reducing their ability to recover.

  Deal damage to all enemies, decrease all of their stats, and slightly decrease their Heal Effect.
  
  Depleted Uranium Bomb
  Deal damage to an enemy and decrease all of their stats.

• Signal Officer
  Signal Officers provide their allies with reliable intel while interfering with enemy communications to send them spiraling into chaos.

  Target the ally with the highest damage, then increase their Accuracy and Crit Rate.
  
  Signal Flare
  Target the enemy with the highest damage, inflict Jam or Silence, and then Mark them.

  Although many military chefs lack true culinary skills, their mess call can be more satisfying to hear than the horn of victory.

Car Bomb
In recent days, a spree of car bombs have detonated across cities controlled by the Scarian Army, apparently targeting railway stations, police stations, markets, and government buildings. Many civilians and soldiers have been killed. While the government's spokespeople claim that the Revolutionaries are to blame, the Revolutionaries counter that the attacks are false flags planned by Akadullah to strike fear in Scarian hearts.

Army Corruption (Day 45 or later)
Recent reports state that "Akadullah is furious" over rampant corruption in the highest levels of his Army. Some of his soldiers have been actively avoiding combat and retreating from confrontations with Revolutionaries. There are even whispers of a "whitelist" - a list of anti-government combatants who are to receive special treatment from the Army, such as being spared from heavy firepower and elite squadrons.

— 2 new camp events: Scrapped Vehicle and Comrade's Request

Scrapped Vehicle
XX was fortunate enough to stumble upon a scrapped vehicle from an unknown local fighting force. We may be able to salvage some valuable parts from its shell.

Comrade's Request
XX wishes to temporarily leave the team to handle some personal affairs with an "old acquaintance" in the area. While they are reluctant to discuss their true intentions, whether they are sending a gift or a barrage of bullets is none of your concern.

Hello everyone! May's update has arrived as scheduled. Here are the details of the 1.0.1 f0 update:

-Improved the generation logic of Army Fortification and Battle wreckage

Added the generation of traps/mines near Army Fortification

- Added random Army defensive positions

A random event that is randomly generated by a combination of enemy troops, mines, traps, wire fences, corpses, and treasure chests

- The traveling merchant is more likely to carry rare items

Now there is a 12.5% chance of the following options available at the traveling merchant, from which you may get items of a higher grade than the normal ones.

Spending a small amount of money is equivalent to "Make a sacrifice" to a random god.

- Added tribesmen NPC and their generation logic

Tribesmen
The people in this tribe still maintain their ancient traditions and way of life: tending herds, fishing, hunting, and going to war. Their ancestral homeland is shrinking, more and more of their land being taken during the war. They are no friends of the government - or the Revolutionaries.

Performing a divination increases or decreases team morale according to the divination results.

Added corpses and treasure chests for random events like Battle Wreckage and defensive positions that can be clicked to obtain resources.

- Added new mechanic for vehicle weapons - Slow: Greatly reduce speed of enemy vehicles

- Added 3 vehicle weapons: Thermal Sniper, Acid Launcher, Aerosol Launcher. Nail Gun adds slow effect
- Added 4 new tactics: Conceal Casualties, Heroism, Collectivism, Pointed Strikes
-Added Agent Gamma to the Collection and improved Gamma's collection and background

Codenamed Gamma, one of Akadullah's elite personal guards, graduated third of her class at the Woman's Military Academy in Scaria. Her real name and family history are unknown.

According to intelligence, her incredible survivability and oppressive combat techniques make her the perfect hunter to track down Revolutionaries.

-Added Autoplay function to the plot dialogue

- Forging failure will now refund 25% of material consumption

- Slightly increased the spawn rate of indoor tactical boxes

- Adjusted the skill data of some new jobs (Mainly increased the strength of Machine Gunner)

- Added Steam Community Items: Badges, Trading Cards, Profile Backgrounds, and Emoticons
- Some feature optimizations and bug fixes

Time flies, and it has been a year since Home Behind 2 launched on Steam in early access on January 22, 2021.

The Home Behind 2 v1.0 update is finally live today! We’d like to say thanks to our loyal players who accompanied us through the Early Access phase. Your feedback and support have been invaluable to us!
In the past journey, the game has undergone a total of 25+ updates. During this period, we added:

• 2 new modes
  
• Hell difficulty
  
• 15+ classes and NPCs
  
• 14+ random tactics and skill mechanics
  
• 22+ quests and events
  
• Multiple regional features

Over the past year, we have added new content, optimized in-game functions, and have further balanced the game’s core mechanics.

Thanks again to our longtime players who have provided us feedback and support during the Early Access. Home Behind 2 is a better game because all of you! We also welcome new players to the game and hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed making it!

V1.0 is the end of Early Access, but it is not the end of Home Behind 2. We have announced the 2022 development roadmap, and we will work hard to optimize and improve the game based on your feedback.

The detailed update content of v1.0 is as follows:

Added a hidden story after finishing the game under Hard difficulty. The story is related to Home Behind and makes the story of Home Behind more complete.

Added a new Boss "Vulture" and related side tasks and stories. During the exploration process, players will randomly encounter the revolutionary army that was attacked by the Vulture and will finally face this formidable enemy.
Skills:

Peck
Deals damage to one enemy unit (fitness gap increases skill effectiveness), reduces enemy's fitness and accuracy and applies a jam effect

Rot
Deals damage to one enemy unit, reduces their fitness, applies a seize effect

Soar
Increases own fitness, speed, and dodge

Added 3 new common jobs:
Machine Gunner:
Machine Gunners seek nothing more than the perfect gun. Seeing their enemies fall to their firepower is their greatest source of joy.
Skill:

Overheated Shot
Reduces own defense, greatly increases damage and crit damage

Rapid Shot
Increases own accuracy and crit rate

Water Cooling
Increases own speed and comes with a jam effect

Chemist:
Most of their knowledge is rooted in ancestral recipes and explosive outcomes from random experiments. Their products can often be... unpredictable.
Skill:

Chemical Spray
Deals continuous damage to all enemies and adds a random effect: jam/silence/stun/immunity

Rapid Healing

Continuously heals one allied unit and adds a random effect: immunity/invincible/mark/stun

Rage Injection
Heals and increases the morale of one allied unit with a random effect: invincible/undying/jam/silence

Engineer:
Instead of fighting their enemies head on, Engineers install a large number of hovering turrets and liquid nitrogen turrets to exhaust their targets.
Skill:

Superior Enhancement
Sacrifice own speed in exchange for Enhance Summon

Hover Turret
Sacrifice your own speed to summon a hover turret, which is mainly used for damage dealing

Nitrogen Turret
Sacrifice your own speed to summon a nitrogen turret, which can slow down the enemies and reduce their dodge

Added 3 skill mechanics. These mechanics have been added to the old and new jobs. The balance of some jobs has been adjusted.

Jam: Unable to use basic attacks
Random effect: The final effect of the skill is random
Enhance Summon: Enhance all the stats of what you summoned

Added 5 new random tactics:

Witch's Brew
An occult potion derived from ancient Scarian legends said to have wonderful - but unpredictable - effects.
Thermal Imager
This high-tech device exposes the heat signatures of enemies behind or within a fortification.
Nitrogen Tank
High-pressured liquid nitrogen makes it difficult for enemies to move for a short time.
Rapid Preparation
Teammates bow their heads and begin preparing to force an advantage in the coming battle.
Disabling Smoke
Produces hot and humid smoke which renders enemy weapons unusable for a short time.
Adjusted the equipment drop rate. It is now easier to obtain high-quality weapons when playing the game on a higher difficulty.

Added a popup prompt when unlocking a job.

Fixed some text.

The game is now available for Macs and can be played on macOS.

Removed third-party DRM verification. (We found that many players reported problems due to DRM verification procedures.)


Since we didn't consider the Workshop in the initial stages of the game’s design, we need more time to consider how we can include the Workshop in our game. We will address the feasibility of adding Workshop support after launching v1.0.

Dear Revolutionaries:

It's been one year since the Early Access launch of Home Behind 2! On January 22, we ushered in the first anniversary of Home Behind 2 landing on Steam. We're very happy to share with you here—Home Behind 2 will transition from Early Access to ‘Released’ on February 16th!
Since the initial release, we have made continuous updates, adding new modes, classes, NPCs, tactics, skill mechanics, missions, and events to the game. As the game moves out of Early Access, we plan to raise the price of the game to $19.99 when v1.0 launches (February 16th).
