You cannot buy the game anywhere unless you go through scalpers. Expect to pay 50 USD or more (or the equivalent) for a 10 USD game.

You can currently get this game on eneba for a tenner

Played a bit today and don't see why it's so highly rated, the cars handle like ♥♥♥♥, it's full of rubberbanding, other racers cars are tanks while yours gets thrown off road with a slight scrape, the race formats are the worst in the genre, etc, etc. NFS Underground and SRS are better games.

The only positives i can find are that it doesn't cost a lot and it supports widescreen resolutions.

Yeah it was one of the ones i never played back in the day so decided to pick it up when i saw it going cheap. Always heard people singing it's praises.

I've heard 3 was a lot better but never got a PC version.

hard to say for me considering the nostalgia i have for 2, but i think i'd have to agree with 3 being better. Honestly it's so depressing 3 never got it's deserved pc port :/ I'd honestly 100% the game multiple times if it did.

I bought mine for about 10€ on Kinguin.net and got a steam key for the EU region. A Worldwide key can be pretty expensive as far as I've seen, but it's also hosted on myabandonware.com

Just remember to install the vista patch from PC Gaming Wiki if you don't get a steam key.
