Considering purchasing as the premise seems interesting for VR especially, but if it's a case of the thread title, then I will pass. Anyone have some insight?

So I've just been playing through update 13 and been testing out the new changes. Love the changes with the targets, so happy to never see two mis-aligned targets again. So much less phantom damage from targets I've actually destroyed as well. However I've definetly encountered some bugs. All of these were encountered on the Valve Index. I mean its alright for the first 100 times but then it becomes bleak, I'd rather much fight waves and get paid on that than this, can we please get another mode or literally anything else than this?

The original post was from July 29th, 2020, after some 10-15 hours of playtime, just having made time chamber level 100. I revised it on May 2nd, 2021, now with roughly 55 hours played, character level 50 and just a bit shy of making time chamber level 600. I played this a lot a few years ago with my valve index and index controllers and while it was finicky to pick up anything with the tongs, it was not impossible. Did something change in this game, or in the index firmware, that broke tongs? I can grip the tongs, and i can full press the trigger to make the tongs push into eachother, but it doesn't do anything to the ingots i am trying to pick up....
