is there any plans of improvement?

love this game hoping for something to come from it after all it has a massive audience that have played and liked the concept at one time or another so i wonder why do they not capitalize on this with a UE5 update or a sot 2 with a new map on UE5 and maybe be the adult version . actually be able to jail people handcuffs planks to walk better things for role playing and more deph and i feel the game could really thrive. but as for me only having like 200 hours or something just seems like they put no effort into the game like there should never not be some sort of an event at this stage it would be so easy to shift around the events to different factions bring back old events etc to keep it alive but they put the most minimal effort into anything but new sails to buy it sucks like you want me to spend more money? sell me a dlc i will buy like PLEASE take my money for a dlc and when people are playing and having fun they will naturally want to deck out the boat? more sales? idk just venting because i wish they saw the potential a lot of me and my friends see that they are throwing down the drain. no other game quite like it for me atlas sucked other than the first week or two then it died this is it wish someone bought the game at this point to actually care

Rare can't even get the Xbox Game Bar's LFG function to work with the Steam version.

With Microsoft's recent acquisition of Acitivision, everyone under them has to help pony up $44 billion dollars to cover the investment.

That means no meaningful QoL updates, just more seasons and skins purchasable with real money.

Its a shame because I have spent real money on this game but I regret it.

Ue5? are you kidding me , this would even more dwindle playerbase, just look how new games run on ue5..

What Sot needs is real improvements and good updates like anticheat, tall tales, quality of life improvements etc.. i hate how i work hard for something in this game just so later everyone could buy it from shop for simple gold - sails, curses, hundreds of hours for nothing.. hour glass is full of cheaters, why should people waste hundreds of hours for leveling, i don't even see point for hg remaining in game..
Teleportation with ships makes no sense, this game is about sailing, making friends and foes along the way not just fast traveling, we had to sail from one map corner to another to get that gold..

Add new stuff - housing, new ship designs, animals, tall tales.. i remember how i was excited for season 3 and 9 , i wish Rare do something quick and listen more to feedback.
