8'25/10. Such a fun one. Pretty original too, mixing what is a detective visual novel in the vein of Phoenix Wright, with 3D free roaming and some platforming. The back and fort can be a bit tedious, but the story and universe had me hooked HARD. Art Direction is 11/10.

this is a long overdue review but my god, you should absolutely play this.

Flawed? absolutely.
Starting off, I played this on the deck and the Steam Deck was not... 100% friendly with this but maybe that changed in a future update. Also, sometimes, the game is a bit unintuitive that you can get lost way too easily. Also, be mindful of your blood crystals. It's easy to overspend them without knowing what you're doing.

However, the story is so good that builds upon all the information you gather, with a very diverse and uniquely designed cast. The best comparison I can give people looking for something similar is Ace Attorney, but in the vaporwave aesthetic. It's one of my beloved gamesof all time. I love the usage of the religious elements too enhance the flavor of this world, really making the world feel alive with its own mysteries, Lady Love Dies is also just such a cool protagonist and I wish I could live up to her coolness.

You should play this. For real. $20 is almost too cheap too, but makes it even better that you get a great game for a great price.
