Starting first quarter of 2024 after a steam patch I am having issues with an older I 9 with 3070 TI having sounds issues on ALL my steam owned games while none of my non steam games have any issue. This includes There are Billions, Warhammer Fantasy, Faster than Light, every title on Steam I run up now has sound issues and the game lock ups are getting progressively worse.

I live in Canada and I can't even contact Guerrilla games for support. Every link leads me to 502 Bad Gateway. Anyone else getting this? I can browses the site and everything but as soon as I go to anything to do with contact us its always 502 Bad Gateway.

Then it seems to me that it's about time for you to also start using the start using the previous Steam's UI (User Interface) like I did when they started turning this into a bloatware program around a year back or so.

If you wish you can search around this forum's section for posts of me stating that after the current Steam's UI, resource hog, kicked in I've instantly started having sound issues loops when launching Horizon Zero Dawn (HZD) while before it I simply had none.

I just had the same problem. What worked for me was pressing the Windows key immediately after I clicked 'continue' so that the game remained in the background while the save was loading.
After I then saved the game again at a different campfire, this problem did not occur again.

This procedure worked correctly and solved my problem. Apparently it is a flaw in the frozenwilds DLC itself.

It is solved by saving in another campfire, the error was not repeated

Intel has issues with the 13th and 14th generation XX900XX family chips affecting aprox 8 million users going by chips sold. look up Level1Techs, intel has a pretty big proble and DF Clips, Intel's 13th/14th Gen core CPUs have big stability problems.
