Then it seems to me that it's about time for you to also start using the start using the previous Steam's UI (User Interface) like I did when they started turning this into a bloatware program around a year back or so.
If you wish you can search around this forum's section for posts of me stating that after the current Steam's UI, resource hog, kicked in I've instantly started having sound issues loops when launching Horizon Zero Dawn (HZD) while before it I simply had none.
After I then saved the game again at a different campfire, this problem did not occur again.
This procedure worked correctly and solved my problem. Apparently it is a flaw in the frozenwilds DLC itself.
It is solved by saving in another campfire, the error was not repeated
