Does this game still come with the mandatory spyware?
As the title says. And before anyone remarks that online privacy is no longer a thing, I'm not going into that here. All I want to know is if you are still required to agree to the intrusive telemetrics reporting (I think it is called) in order to play a single-player game. Not a fan of software phoning home without an option to opt-out.

That's not what spyware is.

You realize steam gathers quite a lot of data, right? As do a lot of games.

It gives you an option between sharing "limited data" and "full data".

Yes, it does. but remember it's a console port, so what Sony wants isn't what it's collecting. likely just basic usage metrics, unlike those poor console-using souls trapped in Sony's microcosmic monetization machine.

If your afraid of spyware OP you need to get off the internet. As soon as you turn your computer on You're being tracked and spied on.
