Need Clarification.
Steam sale page shows H-ZD:Complete for $12.49 (US) today. Click into it and only Horizon is 12.49, the "COMPLETE" (forbidden west is 47.99 (us). IS this a classic bait and switch to push the expansions / DLC (i'm looking at you CIV 6)?

Forbidden West is a sequel, not an expansion or DLC for HZD.

No there both separate games. Since Forbidden West came out a few months ago its not going to have that big of a discount compared to Zero Dawn.

Zero dawn only has the complete version on PC.
Forbidden west is the sequel to Zero Dawn.

I guess I follow. "Complete" is no longer complete because there's more. Like Inquisitor -Martyr, and Prophecy. 2 different games / purchases milking the same game engine / world and fan base.

No, Complete as in Zero dawn + the Frozen Wilds DLC.
Forbidden West is another game.

It's like
DIshonered and Dishonered 2
Half-Life and Half-Life 2
Scream1 And Scream 2 and Scream 3

and so.. no milking just the routine sequels made years apart

Sequel game just came out this year on pc. Wait a year and it will go down in price. Usually how it works. It is how i buy older games on pc or ones i really want but the price is still too high.
