Gas Station Simulator

Customers and parking spots
I don't know why but for whatever reason the customers have a specific parking spot when they spawn. They don't want to park anywhere else. Now sometimes it happens that two customers want the exact same parking lot and what happens? A huge damn traffic buildup is what happens. Its worse when it is the very first parking lot there is. There is traffic leading outside to the highway and its also really reducing my income by a lot because it happens so damn often. Noone can get to the car wash, noone gets to the garage until that one idiot finally moves away from the parking lot.

I don't think NPCs should be programmed in a way where they choose a parking lot from the moment they spawn on the map, they should just drive into the parking lot and then check the first space. If its free, they use it, if it isn't they keep going.

+1 I've been having the same problem. I've even had a string of cars with the same spot: a spot is occupied, a car wants it and causes a traffic jam. I sweep it into another spot, only to find the NEXT car wants the same spot.

I don't think them spawning with a spot in mind is bad, as it makes things easier from a programming standpoint. However, duplicate assignments need to prevented. Alternatively, the issue may be that sometimes, when a car takes a spot, it fails to flag it as occupied. Either way, it's an annoying bug that costs significant income. A fix would be amazing.
Thats where i hit the reset button and send them back to the mothership. Seems faster for me. I barely touch a car and it flies a mile and directly into more traffic. can't even jump over one without it winding up on it's top. I'm like the incredible hulk and the bionic man at the same time.
The reset button works, but it also stops all current activity. I've got all four parking lots, so there's usually a lot of customers inside buying things, and I don't want to lose that business. I've definitely bit the bullet and hit "reset" anyway, it's just not an ideal solution.

I have all 4 as well. thing is, everything will be going along swimmingly and activity will come to a complete stop. I look around and sure enough, a car is sitting there beeping at another car in a parking spot. Every spot in the lot might be open, but they want that one, and it puts a line throughout the entire parking lot stopping everything. There is no business being conducted inside, nor anywhere else at this point, and it typically happens while i'm at the airstrip.

Please fix the parking AI. From what I've read it's been an issue for an absurd amount of time.

This is exactly what I meant, yes. Its very annoying. Doesn't happen all the time but when you don't notice it early you basically miss out on a lotta money.
