Suprising fun Indie top-down 2D open-world bullet hell game where you drive a air-ship and explore islands on air and engage in air ship battles and get to upgrade your weapons with tons of mods + drive different ships with different looks and stats.

Everything about the gameplay is great. The exploration, the combat, the crafting, the puzzles, liberation, enemies, ship vs ground combat, the building...it's great. The art and music are also great.

...but the story and dialogue are just unbearably bad. I played an earlier build when there was less story and it was great, but the bad writing just sours the game.

Even then I could have forgiven it, but for some reason the devs decided to use AI for their release trailer thumbnail, which is a complete joke. Someone put in so much work with the cartoony pixel art, and the bland AI trailer image doesn't even properly match the character (did you guys just forget that she only wears a left-hand glove or something?).

It's a real slap in the face of the artists, and for that I'm throwing the game under the bus. Not recommended.
