VRocker
Odd Problems with Vrocker and Specific problem in No Man's Sky
A few days ago I tried the Demo of Vrocker. A problem I encountered in No Man's Sky while testing was that Walking would randomly stop and sometimes I would flail around like a madman before I started moving again. Being hopeful, I tried it for 30 mins and decided the cool down feature might be to blame as they SEEMED to coincide one after the other. I bought the program and started the tutorial which seemed fine for a while. However I started getting the problem with the stopping and being difficult to start walking again (despite moving the sliders and turning off all of the Brakes). Now sometimes I could walk a long distance (mostly straight) and other times just a few feet. Getting frustrated, I went to NO Man's Sky and noticed there was a LOT of background sound effects triggering and the scanner would run without my starting it...in addition to the random walking problem. It seemed That the program was triggering actions in the game.

Now, there WAS an error when I purchased the program. The Demo was still installed...and when I bought the program it showed for a moment in my library and I saw a quick message about Vrocker removing the demo. The demo remained but the program was gone. The program showed up as "In Cart" again but that page showed it as installed. I uninstalled the demo and rebooted the PC and the proper program appeared. After testing and having the problems I listed, I uninstalled the program , rebooted and reinstalled but the problems continued. Tested in No Man's Sky, Skyrim VR, the Tutorial and Karnage. Basically, the walking is being inconsistent (yes I did get through the tutorial).

This is on a Meta Quest 3 and an Amd Cpu and Graphics card.

Here is an ODD fix to most of the problem! I do not know if there is a sensitivity setting for the thumbstick (as in close or touching or pressing hard but not clicking) but touching the right thumbstick to activate was randomly working for me in Vrocker... until I wet my thumb and touched the joy stick! The joy stick was already clean (yes I clean the controllers often) but having the thumb wet seems to have made a better, more reliable, connection. This probably makes sense as I have trouble swiping on my cell phone and at the payment machines in stores. I have never noticed this with the quest 3 however. So that is my temporary fix until I can get into the discord (invite was always denied). The no man's sky problem I will check later with the Thumb trick.

Hey, that does seem odd. Did you try other activation methods too to confirm it was the touch causing the issue? Also, did the Discord link not work at all?
