Mobile app purchases?
Can you not use purchases from Steam on mobile app and vice versa? If so, why not?

You can. Confirm the same email address against your profile on both platforms. You can play with expansions purchased on any of Google Play, Apple Store and Steam on all three of these platforms without buying them again. You may even find them cheaper than they are on Steam on the other platforms.

I registered fine on mobile but the Steam client will not send me a code to verify. Have tired like 5 times.
