Is it possible to finish Gildenberg from first or second attempt?
On second attempt I lived up to the boss fight but it looks like I should grind up more permanent buffs and buildings to be able to finish it.
Is there someone who won Gildenberg from second attempt?
How many attempts do people generally make before finishing it?

Every map is winnable from without meta upgrades.
However, coming in blind you are generally expected to win on a second try on a boss, so don't sweat it if you got gotted.

FInished it on my first try. I got lucky the 2 first harpies landed on top of my best hero and managed to kill the 3rd as the town was getting runover.

Well, I've never lost a single run in this game so far so yes, any level can be beaten first try. I recently went directly from start to Apoc VI with no meta grinding but game still too EZ.
