Do I need a subscription to Xbox gamepass to play online mode?
Hi,

I have just bought Gears 5 on Steam after playing it on Xbox for a few years.. as I have retired my Xbox I wont be repurchasing the monthly game pass subscription once it has expired.

I wasn't aware that I needed to sign into my Xbox account in order to play it on Steam so I am wondering what happens when my Xbox game pass sub ends? will I still need a game pass subscription to play Gears online even though I purchased it through Steam?
