Hope it`s not a silly question but
Both this and Tactics are the same price.
1. Do they go on sale regularly
2. Which would you recommend. ( differences between the two)

Gears tactics is xcom (top down turn base shooter or whatever it is.) Gears 5 is 3rd person action shooter with single player, co-op and pvp. Story, horde mode (wave survival mode). PVP (players vs players mode). Escape mode (place gas bomb and try to escape before gas reaches and kills you)

Thanks, I am only interested in single player, so is tactics better for that ?

tactics is turn based while gears 5 is real time
