Found the Solution for the Crashes!
Guys

After hours of researching and tests i think i have the solution

It's not new nvidia drivers, nor w11 updates but the ingame shader cache, so

go to Cyberpunk 2077 folder, search for "cache" and 2 files and a folder will appear, just rename them and the game won't start, it'll tell you to verify and repair files, do it manually and no more crashes

remember also to remove any mods, i had HD Reworked and it was a problem also, i know many guys here say it's not but trust me it's part of the problem

Hope it works, and if it does let me know
All the Best, Sergio!

Uhm... the only cache folder in the program folder is r6/cache but that has nothing to do with shaders but merely modding. Hence the name of the subfolder: "modded".

you should have this 1 folder and the 2 files

CACHE folder
shader_final.cache
staticshader_final.cache

whatever one you have just rename it and repair the game, i don't have any issues anymore and i'm testing the game heavily

i've tried removing nvidia drivers with ddu, installing latest, hotfix, w11 updates, running as admin and many more, nothing worked except this

just to clarify i also removed HD Reworked Mod

I find mentioned folder and files and delete/download as you said and still CTD. I am trying to finish the game with Arasaka choice this time but I cant go further than board meeting.

HD Reworked Project works just fine, played for a couple hours last night using it with Overdrive.

well i had ctd all the time when fast travelling, opened the map and alt+tab i couldn't game anymore, so i decided to investigate and i did that but previous i used ddu and installed latest nvidia drivers and also w11 updates, but, the main thing i did first was removing HD Reworked mod

hope this helps, all the best, Sergio!

Just tested, it most certainly does not.
Fast traveled, ran around, opened map, went back into game. All is fine.
If you're crashing/having issues with it added to your game there's something else going on on your end/system/game causing it to crash/cause problems.

The map crash happened to me without any mods. Currently investigating and trying to replicate it more consistently, but it does happen without mods.

Edit: also, shaders aren't cached in a game folder, they're cached in a driver specific folder in C: for the driver to initiate when loading a game.

well so hard to believe that all the people that mentioned that had the same issue ctd after fast travelling and opening the map is not the same, but maybe it's something only related to my settings, not hardware i'm a overclocker from hwbot, but my game settings, anyways just trying to help, maybe it leads the way for someone to find the error.

all the best, Sergio!

the solution for the map is that one i posted, i couldn't find anything related to drivers, windows updates, etc but, just in case i also removed the mod, i will try with it again. Anyways, i'm not surprised that it worked after i removed those cache and file folders

Understand you're just trying to help others, which I commend, I tend to try to do the same.
Not sure what the issue is really and hope you're able to get it sorted. Was just trying to clarify that HD Reworked does *seem* to play well, at least on my install so far I guess.

Could be OC related if you've got one enabled and it's a bit too aggressive. I do run an OC on both my CPU and GPU, and have had to dial the GPU OC back a little bit in the past as it was causing issues with this game for me.

Dang I did this and it didn't work. I have no mods and very few hours on this game and I can't even launch it now lol

Well seems I spoke too soon and didn't test long enough, just had a crash using HD Reworked about half an hour after fast travelling, loading up map to set a marker after, then playing.

Don't tend to usually fast travel so hadn't had it happen sooner, nor apparently spent enough time playing when testing it quick earlier.

My humble apologies.

could it be a vram problem? opening the map causes vram usage to spike up 200-400mb. and as we know hd reworked adds another 400 or 800mb depending on which file you chose. maybe something in this patch increased vram requirement apart from path tracing?

try using the balanced version if you haven't and see if it helps.
