no, will try this. need to step away for a bit. The older I get, the less patience i have for difficult Bosses.

The end bosses are difficult, but I really don't like the way the game mechanics change in those sequences. Kind of a cheap way of making the endings 'challenging'.

1. Iconic Cyberware Malfunction x2 + Iconic Short Circuit + Iconic Cripple Movement if you're pure netrunning
2. Iconic Cyberware Malfunction x3 + Iconic Short Circuit and shoot with Crime Stopper if you are setup for Smart Guns

You can often neutralize him with the above combos before the snipers even have a chance to deploy.

*caveat being, do not run Cyberware Malfunction x4 as that prevents that hack from being used again on a target

Yea this part is ridiculous. There is a long intro they make you watch every single time... before a fight they knew was going to be very "difficult". They don't realize theyre making me sit through this intro 100 times?

Also the fight is annoying as f--k. I constantly have to dash to avoid these death blows from smasher. But its a tight space and I am MOSTLY dying from dodging into a wall or not realizing something is behind me as I panic dodge backwards. I throw everything I can at this turd and I run out of RAM, health, ammo, so f-ing fast.

At first I couldn't even get to half health. But when I hung in there and finally got down to almost dead, there's suddenly this big ass noise, and a big ass explosion, and I'm just dead. Like WTF, how am I even supposed to know what to do or what's happening? Why not just have him teleport into my body and I randomly explode?

I hate this fight. It's disproportionately hard, and I am at level 50 I typically wipe anything out on the street. I can even take a couple Max Tack and loads of police. But Adam Smasher is a god I guess. I need to take a big break from this game.

The best advice for the fight against Smasher ist the Quickhack Detonate Grenade. It only works once, but strips 30% off him. If you had Rogue with you, she has already taken 20%, so he is instantly at only 50%.

Also, it's very helpful to give him Cyberware Malfunction. He is hardly human at all, so that really weakens him. The rest is shooting like crazy and also Synapse Burnout. I managed to beat him like that on Hard in a minute and I'm actually not very good at this sort of thing. Of course, having full armor and Second Heart is useful as well.

You can save just before entering the room, that's enough. Of course you see Rogue being killed everytime ...

I ended up fighting Smasher with an 80% armor penetration Barghest Ajax assault rifle with the Swiss Cheese and Equalizer mods. Fight ended so quick I didn't even realize what was happening until it was already over, didn't even catch his dialogue.
