1. Please do not use profanity and keep the chat PG 13+. This includes steam and clan names.

2. Controversial topics are not welcome. These include politics, abortion, BLM, vaccines, international wars, and any other real-world controversial topic that does not involve games or gaming.

3. No religious, racist or gender slurs of any kind.

4. No insulting or harassing fellow players or the Day of Dragons staff. Please remember to be kind to the admins and they will be kind to you! They're volunteers trying to help. Do not disrespect them and argue against their authority. If you have an issue with an admin, please send a report to a @Senior Server Admin/@Lead Server Admin . If you have an issue with another player, please send a report (https://tinyurl.com/dodreports).

Note: Telling someone to kill themselves (♥♥♥, unalive themselves....etc) will result in a kick and a 1 week ban from all official servers. Similar next offences will result in a permanent ban.

5. If you find an exploit, immediately report it to a @Senior Server Admin/@Lead Server Admin or send a report (https://tinyurl.com/dodreports). Players should never use an exploit to their advantage.

Note: Due to fundamental changes in the map and it's design, we have had to revisit what was a standing rule in Legacy. Given that the design of the map for 1.0 does not intend for people to be inside the river, we want to make it clear that if you are intentionally putting yourself in this position, it is now considered an exploit of the map and will be dealt with in the same manner as we have always dealt with other meshing infractions.

6. Please submit bugs to our bug-reports channel in our discord (https://tinyurl.com/dodbugreports).

7. No using hacks, mods, or cheats of any kind. This will result in a permanent ban from all Day of Dragons Official Servers, affecting all known alternate accounts of the individual.

8. Do not impersonate devs, staff, or other players. This includes copying their name and avatar with intent to deceive others.

9. Do not abuse the report system. Sending false information regarding individuals or yourself may result in a temporary ban.

10. Do not advertise or sell anything for real currency. This includes all Day of Dragons content, such as skins, stats and species.

Eldering Official Servers:
Eldering is free for everyone on ALL official servers. You DO NOT need to be part of any group to elder or need to wait in a line to elder. This means there are no rules regarding eldering on any official servers. Stating that there are official rules regarding eldering or harassing individuals for eldering on any official server will now result in a warning.

Safe zones (aka no damage zones) for Official PvP Servers:
Nesting, camping (killing individuals close to the entrance/radius of safe zones), logging out, prolonged growing and using safe zones to avoid combat will result in a warning.

If a rule is broken, an individual may be muted or kicked from the server. If the rule breaks continue, or are severe, an individual may be permanently banned from all Day of Dragon Official Servers.

Please keep in mind that recording your gameplay is highly recommended. This is because if a dragon is lost due to a bug, an admin may ask for proof of the loss before a regrow Is provided.

Punishment escalation for harassment, profanity, disobeying admins, exploits, glitches, have a progressive discipline system on Official Day of Dragons Servers. This system may be overridden depending of the severity of the rule break.

1st offense: will result in a warning.
2nd offense: may result in a kick, warning, 24 hour mute on all official servers or 24 hour ban from all official servers (up to admin).
3rd offense: may result in a 24 hour ban or mute on all official servers (if the user was not banned or muted at the 2nd offense) or a 1 week ban or mute on all official servers (if a 24 hour ban or mute for the 2nd offense was issued).
4th offense: will result in a 1 week ban or mute on all official servers or a 1 month ban or mute on all official servers (if a 1 week ban or mute for the 3nd offense was issued).
5th offense: will result in a 1 month ban or mute on all official servers or a perma ban or mute on all official servers (if a 1 month ban or mute for the 4th offense was issued).
6th offense: will result in a perma ban or mute on all official servers. However, after 3 months individuals can contact x_midnight_x (Community Management) on discord or by email (midnight.beawesomegames@gmail.com) and ask to get their ban revoked. However, depending on the severity of previous rule breaks, the ban or mute may or may not be lifted. This goes for all perma bans or mutes issued.
