How do i fix my textures.

So i download this game for the first time and steam asked me to download this texture pack or something for day of dragons and i had scales and all the textures were fine but then i uninstalled it a month late and reinstalled it and i loaded into the game and the textures for the dragon were gone it was just like smooth plastic i don't know how to fix this it didn't ask me to re-download the texture pack so i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this.

The game shouldn’t be asking you to download something that’s built into the game…

The plastic look is most likely your graphical settings as the textures is what gives the dragons their colors and markings as well as scale details and depths and can vanish on lower settings unless you zoom in on the dragons and look at it.

Suggestion, adjust your graphical/video game settings when you try playing again.

I tried that its still not working i have no clue whats going on

I have the same problem, but I was not offered to install a texture pack. I downloaded the main version (day of dragons) and added the second one (dragons legacy), I tried to thoroughly find the answer to my question, but so far I haven't found anything, that the dragon, that everything around it, even at the highest settings, is not detailed, everything is just plastic.
