Alan wake not launching

I just bought alan wake 1
When i try to play it , its not opening or launching
If anyone can help me thanks in advance

Same, I'm running on an AMD gpu, how about you? I am able to get a second or two of the first splash screen but then it crashes.

I hate buying a game that won't even start like this, and then get sent down rabbit holes of learning how to delete programs, download and install other ones, reboot multiple times, and then end up with a system running less well than when I started, with the game still unusable.
