It's not going on a deeper sale any time soon. As long as people are still buying it at full price, why would they lower it?
These kinds of threads are pointless.
Just how stupid are you IRL? Because you obviously know nothing about gaming as a biz.
BG3 is still selling at close to launch week numbers, 20% is as good as it will get, until "maybe" 30% next summer. (maybe)
While Larian is an odd, quirky studio, they know how to crunch numbers, and they are pretty good about not shooting themselves in the wallet.
It's still, a year after launch, one of the top ten sales and daily player counts on Steam. They have exactly zero reasons to go beyond a 20'% cut.
Buy the game, ya cheapo git. If you wait on a great game, hoping to save the price of a Happy Meal, then that's your bad.
But in general? No great CRPG get's there without idjits on one side, and hyper-sensitive asshats on the other. That's the fertilizer that makes good games grow.
I'm proud to contribute my portion of the poop.
However, get my ire up, and I can gleefully sling the shiz with both hands. Sometimes also with age comes not giving a rat crap what anyone else thinks.
