I liked them all. I'm genre-fluid. :steamhappy:
How dare you.

I like the story, but man I hate how they did the combat and balance. My characters seem wimps and weak fighting what so ever, dealing 4 dmg.... with a 4-16 dmg weapon? Right...... and miss also a lot, getting 12 - 24 dmg back, so party is done for after a few rounds. I left turn-based for a long time, but now I know why.... I am just not good in managing the characters armour and weapons in this game. However, I do love the game despite the many bugs during combat (enemy in a cave underneath joining? enemy not attacking and have to wait for AI to notice it? enemy climbing somewhere away from the battle? enemy can suddenly do more attacks then it did before? etc.....)

I can't stand "RTWP" combat, terrible way to adapt tabletop rulesets and honestly a huge mess. Never liked it, it was the one thing preventing me from getting into CRPGs. DOS was the first one I really got into.

You missed out on a lot of really good games. Not all CRPGs were RTwP. Fallout 1 and 2 weren't. The Shadowrun games weren't. That's just some examples, but there are many more.

same, I think the turn based style they went with in bg3 is something I appreciate much more than real time with pause

the dice rolls n stuff are still gonna take time for me to get used to, but so far i have fun w/ it. i don't doubt there are good reasons why people like bg1 and 2 but they just.. idk, don't look like they aged well. graphics or gameplay wise.
