Is this one of those frequent tiny patch games?

I just noticed a tiny update of a couple hundred-ish kb. Cyberpunk used to do that frequently with no patch notes. Does this game do the same thing?

That's Steam's doing (verifying some files, updating shaders, stuff like that), it has nothing to do with the developers.

You must have 'pre-cached shaders' set on download in the settings. Those are the 'updates' you get, just disable the setting in Steam settings
