Just started playing, and the third bike I went to repair was a side mission. It's a Desert Eagle Racing Speedy that the owner wants me to replace his Classic Right Fork Leg with a Slick. Sure, no problem, easy enough. Buy the part, remove the old part and... Yeah, the Desert Eagle Racing Speedy doesn't support the Desert Eagle Racing Speedy Slick Right Fork Leg, so I can't add it to the bike.

Is this typical? Is there a way to work around this, or is it just an accepted bug that you can't always finish side tasks, but you will spend money on them before you find out?
