Can't get out of the menu to start the game

I'm trying to play on Index when I start the game it shows the chapter 1 title, but then it just loads back to the same room. I hit close on the menu and it just instantly pops open again

same its quite annoying my freind has the same headset as me and can play it he cant even figure out why it wont.

Same issue i just bought the game a few days ago and went to play it for the first time today but cant get menu to close.

I figure it out. I put a piece of tape on proximity sensor inside headset and menu never shows again. That was a problem.

+1 using the vive pro I cannot get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menu to stop popping up after starting the first chapter, the tape fix didn't work either and I can see my headset is NOT going into idle mode
