The game is very good and at the same time very strange and this is because we have here an exceptionally strange combination of an action game, where we encounter a mixture of cyberpunk, the wild west, gothic and steampunk. That is why a real explosive mixture is created here and as if that was not enough, a bit of horror, vampires and vampire hunters were also added to it all. Ultimately, an exceptional product is created. The game is very interesting, it has its own unique atmosphere, the characters are well written. The plot itself is also well created. The combat system and the arsenal are interesting and really good, although they are not particularly extensive because we do not have many weapons here. However, I think that it is better this way because the ones that are there are very good and add a good atmosphere to the game (a lot does not mean better). As for the bugs or other problems themselves, I did not notice any. The game works very stably and well. I can highly recommend this game, and I recommend buying it on sale.

Terrible, do not buy. Lackluster and boring. It was not fun, story was bland, couldn't get into it. It was so linear, no exploration of any kind, that it stifled the game. I do not recommend it. Save your money for better games.

very short game for a 44.99 price tag. Combat is decent but at times i click the button for the rifle but its really slow at pulling out there's a big delay and is frustrating. overall the combat just feels slow and clunky

I was hesitant about Evil West. Early reviews didn’t sell me, and I kept pushing it down my backlog, unsure if it was worth the time. In hindsight, I regret waiting so long. This game is an absolute blast, and I wish I had played it sooner.

The fun kicks in once you get the hang of the game’s mechanics and start playing it the way it was meant to be played. It’s fast-paced, satisfying, and genuinely rewarding once you embrace its rhythm. The combat is chaotic in the best way, combining brutal melee attacks with over-the-top gadgets that keep the action fresh.

And then there’s the story. It has this gritty, straightforward charm that reminded me of Gears of War 1. It doesn’t try to cater to a modern audience or cram in unnecessary fluff. Instead, it doubles down on delivering a pulpy, action-packed narrative that keeps you engaged without feeling forced or bloated.

Evil West doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it doesn’t need to. It knows exactly what it wants to be: a fun, unapologetic throwback to when games were just about having a good time.
