Does anybody knows where I can find MODS on steam for Empires

So I'm a bit confused steam says in febuary their gonna stop supporting 32 bits games. Is empire 32 bit? If so what does that mean, are they gonna remove it or?.

Playing as GB, some strats suggest to invest heavily into trade in Africa and Indies... Even assuming you eradicate the pirates early on, is managing trade worth it? Ive had issues because the income is decent, but when an enemy fleet comes in it can easily chase your stack of trade ships off their nodes. So you need to leave a fleet to defend the nodes.
