It's an okay casual 7/10 MMORPG with good graphics and interesting combat. It's quite fun to play for 1-2 hours daily. If you're looking for an MMORPG where you can reach the endgame content/gear + cosmetics WITHOUT giving thousands or tens of thousands of hours of your life, this game is for you.

NGS is the embodiment of mediocrity but it's slowly getting better. Time will tell. It still has one of the best character creation tools out there, but for an action game it's only okay.
On the other hand, Classic is amazing but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have the patience of a saint - not for any faults of Classic itself, but because the players, for the most part, aren't very good at it.

For both games, the official English localisation is also insanely spotty to the point where I wonder if the translators even speak Japanese, or if they just phoned it in after getting paid. Things like "Liberate" weapons getting transliterated into "Rivalate" of all things, despite the corresponding Weapon Potential still being called "Liberating Fang," stick out like a sore thumb.
