The Fire Scene (Spoliers)
i have to say, i think i'am gonna stop playing this, its too harsh the choice to be made megan/meliissa, if i was in that situation if would have put them together and covered them with my body and hoped they both survived, as the character said in previous scene he would prefer to lose them both than pick one, i would have definitely sacrificed myself to try and save them. guess i need to find something else to play

Part of being a man is making difficult, pragmatic choices. I really appreciated the story and having to make the difficult choice makes it more meaningful.
yep, but it was a shock when it happened it just came out of nowhere, after a few hours away, i will be retuning to the game i think i will chose megan as after some thought it seems the fire is the result of what melissa did stealing the drugs, so its her fault it happened, will see how it progresses, maybe i'm wrong and it was due to my character beating him up.

I didn't have a strong attachment to Melissa so Megan was an easy choice for me. She is also more like someone I would date in RL.

It's really a great game in my opinion. Other good ones which you may or not have played yet are Treasure of Nadia, Being a D I K, Leap of Faith and Love of Magic. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the narrative of many of these games and some of the game play (Treasure of Nadia and Love of Magic) is really fun as well.
i just finished acting lessons, was a nice ending marrying megan and having a baby called melissa, was also great that his mate beat cancer and he ended up with the smurf :) its a shame melissa had to die, but overall it was a nice end to game after a heartbreaking fire scene, glad i decided to finish it, and will look out for future releases from mrpinkcake

Being a ♥♥♥ is an excellent game played 2 seasons on that looking forward to season 3, summer with mia and return to mia are two of my other favourites, collage kings is also very good, will check out the ones you mentioned at some point in the future

Yeah, the only AVN I know of which hits harder is Leap of Faith.

I've done three full PTs of AL, one each for Megan, Melissa, and Rena. If you think you won't play again I'd suggest selecting Melissa. Blaming her for Peter's actions is not fair. Yeah, she stole Peter's stuff including the drugs. That was wrong. But it isn't like it was unprovoked.

Here is why I think you should select Melissa: It is just a better story. Megan is the sweet, nice girl that's easy to pick. But she doesn't really need you. If you cheat before the fire, you'll lose her after it -- but it won't stop her from being successful. Melissa it is far more interesting to watch her change/grow. She is the emotionally damaged, abused girl who really needs you. From casual sex partner, to the three way dating situation with Megan before the fire, and then after the fire watching her continue to grow emotionally into the love the MC feels for her.

One of these days I need to go back and do full Leah and Ana PTs to finish up the achievements...
i agree about the pete/melissa blame thing but i made that comment before i found out who started the fire, its a well written plot didnt guess it was leah who was the bad one, she seemed like a nice person at the start. only plot hole i can see is that the store robber wasnt caught i saw his face but was never asked about it after 1st cop scene

BTW -- specifically addressing the choice in the fire scene. You need to realize what DrPinkCake's approach is. He is telling you a story. You are not the MC. The MC is the narrator and the person who provides the POV for the story and you get to choose some minor details along the way. To tell the story, certain things have to happen. One of those things is someone needs to die in the fire. It is like the fact you can't avoid getting into a dating relationship with Megan. The reason you can't avoid that is because it is a required element of the story.

You see the same thing in DPC's even more popular BaD. There are relationships you can not avoid. And you can't avoid them because they are necessary for the story DPC is telling you.
