Game Won't Launch
The game won't launch after installing DLC. It used to work; haven't played it in a couple years, but decided to buy the DLC and install it today, but now it doesn't start.
Steam UI says it is running, and there is an exe in the task manager, but no game screen appears and nothing in the task bar.
Anyone else seen this before and know what could be wrong?

Some anti-virus programs will prevent the game from launching, so you could try to disable those or whitelist the game.

Thanks, I did try the verifying game integrity. Also uninstalled and reinstalled, but it still wouldn't launch. I ended up getting a refund for the DLC, and reinstalled again; now it's working.
I didn't think to try the whitelist, but i will try that next time. Maybe something in one of the DLCs was giving a false positive as a virus. I only use the built in Windows defender, and nothing popped up saying it was blocked so i'm not too sure.
