I can’t progress the story any further after the Huntress Fight – Currently this Early Access version of the game ends hear. Based on the feedback it would have helped if we had added a TO BE CONTINUED message of some sort at this point so that the user is aware.

Mission Accomplished Lock - For those experiencing a progression lock where the quests say its completed. This seems to happen whenever users start a new game/load a previous game on the same play session (without closing the app). Until we issue a patch, we advise players to close the game before starting a new game/loading another save

Low Level Fatal/Decompression Error results in a crash – We can’t confirm if this will work for everyone yet however some users have found that by clicking “Verify integrity of game files” has fixed the game crashing on specific areas. During download, some files seem to become corrupt and need to be verified and fixed. (Right click on the game from the left side panel, right click, click properties, click Local Files, click Verify integrity of game files) Currently the project is compressed to save on space however there may be a chance that some machines are running into an issue decompressing the files. If the issue continues, we may need to provide an uncompressed version to avoid this issue however the tradeoff is a larger game size.

I can’t click the Save button, it’s greyed out – This button is currently not implemented at this time, the game currently auto-saves based on events, i.e. unlocking an upgrade, completing a mission or dialogue section, entering the Mary Celeste or exiting and talking to crew members are some examples.

Game doesn’t continue after PANDORA tutorial – By pressing the default pop up window proceed button “C” the game will continue. Unfortunately, we failed to make this more noticeable so we will provide more information on how to do so. We can add a pulsing highlight on this area to make it more noticeable to execute this action.

Key Binding Issues resulting in “None” – Some users where part of earlier BETA so the key-binding data is conflicting.
1. Quit the game.
2. Paste %LOCALAPPDATA%\Subverse\Saved in Windows Explorer's address bar.
3. Delete the Config folder. This will reset your settings, but will fix the controls issue.

Application load errors – From reports this most likely is due to antivirus software causing the game to not load. Either try loading the application again or update permissions for the application.

# **Save File Patch Fixer Overview**
- Once a save game is resumed post the patch fix addition, if a patch was a applied, a backup save will be automatically generated along with your original saved games under the following folder
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Subverse\Saved\SaveGames\...
- The backup save will be created with the following suffix "Backup-Date-Time-Version"
Example "Subverse Save Game Slot 2-Backup-Apr 2 2021 12_10_04 PM-Version_"

Windows 7 Users: Some users have reported several bugs that resolved after installing Windows 7 Update KB4474419. Bright Lens Flare on Mary Celeste Bridge after 0.1.2: Increase your shadow settings to something other than "Low".

No Key Bindings - There are 2 ways that could fix this until we roll in a hotfix:

restarting the game
deleting Input.ini (found at C:\Users<User>\AppData\Local\Subverse\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor) -> They should backup the file just in case though
